Neam Clinic is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team.
We are launching a brand-new Occupational Therapy department and are looking for a passionate, pioneering Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dubai.
As the first OT in this department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our clinical practices, working alongside our established ABA team to provide holistic, child-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform relevant and necessary occupational therapy assessments and evaluations and write corresponding reports.
- Providing safe, effective, evidence-based and comprehensive occupational therapy services.
- Design and implement structured and individualized treatment occupational therapy programs to teach each child.
- Collect data and maintain documentation pertaining to each child’s program.
- Communicate questions, child’s progress, or other feedback to parents, Clinical ABA Supervisors, and ABA therapists.
- Review behavior management techniques to ensure consistency in therapy, while at the same time reducing the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors.
- Participate in clinic meetings, workshops, and training seminars as necessary.
- Educate and train ABA Therapists in occupational therapy techniques utilized for each child, in order to ensure consistency of interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely records including timesheets and reports.
- Assist with other administrative tasks when required.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
- Understanding, supporting, and promoting the mission, vision, and values of the facility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in occupational therapy
- 3+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy
- First Aid Training
- Passionate and creative about working with children and able to improve their daily lives.
- Able to work individually and as a multidisciplinary team.
- A valid DHA License (or DHA Eligibility letter) is mandatory.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Demonstrated functional oral and written communication in English.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Arabic) are a plus but not required.
